I popped into the Apple shop in Guildford this afternoon and had my first real chance to play with an iPad.
Initial impression: WOW
I was extremely impressed with the device. The form factor felt good. The screen was bright, clear and vibrant. The interface was very slick, fast and intuitive. It made my website look amazing.
Verdict: this is the perfect device for taking to a client consultation. I’ll still take the albums and large prints that I traditionally use to market my services but with this little gadget I can take a much larger portfolio of images with me.
The iPad is very definitely on my shopping list 🙂
