Some of you may have noticed a slight change to the widget bar on the right-hand side of my blog today. I’ve added a new widget to support a new initiative and a new direction for theLightMatters blog. My new newsletter.
My goal is tostart providing subscribers with richer content than is currently available through my blog. The blog will still continue but I’ll now also be supplementing it with this new information channel. it’s aim is to provide more in-depth material as well as a excerpts of selected recent posts with links. This is the first stage of a three phasee process and in phase two I’ll be introducing much mor targeted information through the newsletter channel alone. Watch this space for more information. The first edition of my newsletter will be issued in time for the 1st February and if you’re interested in getting a copy of the first issue, fill out the subscription form and the monthly emails will start to arrive shortly.
BTW – I take personal data very seriously and under no circunstanes will I pass your details on to a 3rd party. Each newsletter will have an unsubscribe link in it’s footer so you’ll also be able to unsubscribe at any time. That’s specifically aimed at my clients whereas theLightMatters Newsletter will be aimed at just at photographers. It’ll cover not only the craft but also the business side with a lot more detail on my own journey from when I decided to turn profesional, complee with all the mistakes I made along the way so hopefully you can avoid them.
