Introduction to Studio Photography

I’ve been working towards this for a while now and I’m very pleased to announce that I’ll soon be providing a studio photography course programme. They’ll be held at my Surrey studio and will be aimed at amateur and enthusiast photographers alike. The courses will start out very simple at first and I’ll be adding more advanced techniques as time goes by.

Introduction to Basic Studio Photography

Format
Taught course in the studio with approximately 40% theory and 60% photo-shoot.

  • Lighting theory
  • Characteristics of light…
  • Modifiers: what they do and why we use them
  • Lighting patterns
  • High key lighting
  • Portrait and Beauty lighting
  • Low key lighting


Who is it aimed at?
Amateur and enthusiast photographers who would like to take their photography to the next level.

Pre-requisites…

  • Must have a DSLR camera with hot shoe or PC socket
  • Basic knowledge of their own camera
